Introduce an optional extra tax on income to benefit the NHS. Example: 50p/week.

Introduce an easy to sign up for, or signed up for by default but easy to stop optionally, payment into the NHS by way of a modified tax code to support them financially. If 30 million tax payers volunteered 50p a week we could add £15mil a week into the NHS budget.

The UK Government is responsible for levying taxes, which are by their very nature not optional. Deciding to donate money to an organisation is a matter for individuals, not the Government or House of Commons.
