Free British Citizenship applications for foreign NHS staffs and their families

The application for visa renewal for foreign NHS workers have been waived by the Secretary of State for the Home department so they can concentrate on the current pandemic the NHS is facing. Why can’t those applying for Citizenship, which is considerably more expensive, have the same privilege? There are many of us affected by this current pandemic, we too have to look for the same amount of money to have the privilege of working in Britain without restrictions. Despite our work in the NHS we also have families to look after at the same time look for money to pay for the citizenship fees.
