Increase student maintenance loans for 2020/2021 due to Covid-19

What the petition asks
Increase the maintenance loan available to students for the academic year 2020/2021 due to Covid-19 limiting available jobs or causing job loses.
A lot of students don't get enough money from their maintenance loan to cover their years rent, let alone afford food and other necessities throughout the year. These students have to work whenever they can to make up the rest of the money they will need.
I myself get the minimum maintenance loan available and my rent for the following year is going to cost £700 more than this provides, then I will have food and other bills on top of that. Without jobs available students won't be able to afford to live at uni.
