Cancel fee of international students until Covid-19
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
Don't ask for fees or cancel first year fees due to Covid-19 for international students studying in uk
I want to do this because whole world is shutdown and no one has such money to pay fee because international students have to pay near about double fee of uk citizens student
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not sure if you want the Government to cancel fees for the current academic year, nor next academic year.
We have published a petition calling on the Government to Reimburse international students this year's fees due to strikes and COVID-19, which you might like to sign: Reimburse international students this year's fees due to strikes and COVID-19
Universities, not the Government or House of Commons, are responsible for setting tuition fees for international students, but if your university course is affected next year you could start a petition calling on the Government to reimburse international students' tuition fees.
