Give NHS key workers and Nurses a decent pay rise
Rejected

What the petition asks
The MPs have been granted a £10,000 boost for working at home, at the same time they have been quoted as saying that “this is not the time to discuss a pay rise for NHS nurses”. This is exactly the time for our NHS workers to get a pay rise instead of the MPs working from home.
Many of our brave NHS staff are on the front line of battling the Covid-19, and, as many of us are aware, they are losing their lives whilst protecting the rest of ours. We have lost doctors and several nurses and this number is only going to continue to rise. These brave individuals are also putting their families at risk by providing our essential services as well as working long hours. Their bravery and the dangerous situation they are constantly in should be reflected in their pay.
