What the petition asks
All nurses and care staff need recognition for their efforts during the pandemic. This is a fitting award from the British People which can be worn on their uniforms in recognition for their excemplory service.
Lots of people will have ideas and I researched what was possible and the florence nightingale award only goes to a limited number of nurses per year. This award could go to all nurses and care givers that have been at the front of the efforts.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
