What the petition asks
The foreign aid budget should be suspended and and the money (approximately £14 billion) should be used to help people, families and businesses affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.
We call upon the Government to stop sending foreign aid and use the money to support UK citizens affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. Those who have suffered through bereavement, loss of earnings and also businesses who have suffered losses due to the outbreak. Using this money will mean in the future, the country will not have to recoup the money through borrowing or tax increases.
