Change furlough rule to include new starters. As you have changed the Type rule

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

We want you to change the furlough ruling on new starters after February 2020 as we can all prove legitimate employment with evidence and hmrc records. Universal credit is not the way as new starters cannot get any state help in the form this requires urgent action.
This will enable their current employer to keep them as staff on their books. And enable to companies to open quicker once given the go ahead. If not companies will have to start recruitment campaigns which in its self can cost thousands of pounds so we urge you to do the right thing.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Change the Furlough Support Scheme to include new hires after 28th February.
