Give nurses and healthcare support workers a meaningful pay rise

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

The pay of nurses and other healthcare support workers is well overdue an increase. Recent increases have lagged behind the increases in living costs and it's time we show how much we value their profession by paying them properly.
The Covid 19 outbreak has shown just how vital nursing staff are to our health service, with frontline staff putting themselves at risk and often isolated from their families. A meaningful pay rise of 10% would demonstrate our gratitude for their service and show how much we value these roles in our health service.
