Terminate Year 12 academic year as COVID-19 makes studying from home impossible.

What the petition asks
The current Year 12s are expected to learn the years content by themselves at home, this is itself extremely difficult however with the addition of the stress and panic from a worldwide pandemic and the fact that majority of students don’t have a quiet place to study because of the lockdown.
The Government should terminate the year and create a new custom curriculum which would start to be taught from the next academic year and the exams will be based purely on the new curriculum.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not exactly sure what you want to happen. For example, we're not sure if you want students to repeat year 12, or to enter into year 13 in the next academic year.
