Allow the transport of rescued animals during the COVID-19 crisis

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Many cats, dogs and other animals are at risk and in need of urgent foster care as more people become ill or lose their jobs during this crisis.

We ask the goverment to amend the current travel restrictions to allow the transport of animals for the purpose of rescue as essential travel.

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Since you started your petition, some measure have now been lifted, allowing rescue centres to resume re-homing.
