Petition · past parliament
debate on allowing refugee children in Greece to be united with UK family
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Join the efforts being made by European countries to offer asylum to refugee children and vulnerable adults who are trapped in squalid camps in Greece
Covid-19 is raging through over-crowded refugee camps throughout the Greek Islands which, at the best of times, have lamentable facilities.
Together with other European countries, the Home Secretary has been asked to facilitate the evacuation of child and vulnerable adult refugees, many of whom have already been accepted to join family in UK.
Covid-19 is a global pandemic and requires a global, humanitarian response that functions outside of migration quotas and ideologies
