Extend Visas for All NHS Staff So They Can Focus on Fighting Covid-19

What the petition asks
Around 2800 NHS front line staff have been granted automatic visa extensions by the Home Office, but the NHS is run by more than just front line staff. We implore the Government to extend the one year visa extensions to all NHS staff as it is a matter of national interest.
Frontline NHS staff are supported by many other important supportive staff, from cleaners to porters, finance and pharmacy. These staff members play vital roles in keeping our wards stocked, clean, and organised which ultimately keeps our doctors and patients cared for. These key workers are now being left behind because the governments new measure do not go far enough, and many may be forced to return home during a critical moment for the NHS and the UK as a whole.
