Prohibit the sale or use of Sky Lanterns

What the petition asks

Sky lanterns are widely condemned by UK Fire professionals and the farming community because of the severe fire risk they pose. These recreational pyrotechnics have been responsible for igniting fires which have lead to significant property damage and livestock fatalities. Ban them!

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

For the sake of wildlife & forests ban the release of balloons and sky lanterns.%20(
