What the petition asks

New Years eve 2019 a single Sky Lantern caused massive destruction and killed many primates at Krefeld Zoo, it could happen here. This is uncontrolled arson promoted by suppliers. These Sky Lanterns serve no purpose and provide no benefit to anyone other than the suppliers

Ban their sale and use, as simple as that, they provide a risk to that has no counter benefit to justify their use

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: For the sake of wildlife & forests ban the release of balloons and sky lanterns.
