Put X as a gender option on passports

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like the government to put X on passports as a gender option and a gender neutral option on driving licences.
There are already some countries doing this and it seems to work well, there are non-binary people across the country that aren't male nor female and they are protected under the Equality Act and we now need to help them further by putting X on their passport and driving licence.
