What the petition asks

Give him a knighthood for showing true British grit in the country’s 2nd darkest hour. By raising millions for the NHS.

Captain Tom Moore deserves a knighthood, for his continuing and amazing effort to raise money for the NHS, during this difficult time. As I type this he is fast approaching his 100th birthday and has raised over £8 million for the NHS by walking around his garden 100 times while he recovers from a hip replacement

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
