UK POLITICIANS... WHERES YOUR 20% PAY CUT?
Rejected

What the petition asks
The country has taken a 20% pay cut, but there is no mention of this applying to politicians in the UK.
You've had 4 weeks to bring this in yourselves, the chance for us to feel like your in this with us is gone.
The NZ prime minister is leading by example and now it's your turn. It's time.

Whilst attacking others such as high paid football players (Matt Hancock, 141k P.A) to take pay cuts, our MPs have given themselves an extra 10k in expenses to work from home.
We, the people, have taken the paycut, walked 100 laps of the garden, ran 5k and donated millions to help our NHS which you underfunded.
Get your 20% in the kitty.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
