Please help stop the spread of COVID-19 within our care and nursing homes

What the petition asks
This petition is to stop public health sending vulnerable patients in hospital who have tested positive for COVID-19 back into a care setting until they have fully recovered and produce a negative COVID-19 test result, especially in care homes where there have been no previous cases of coronavirus.
In care homes up and down the country, regardless of whether there has been a coronavirus outbreak within that home, care homes are having to accept residents back into their homes who have tested positive for COVID-19. This policy means the lives of thousands of vulnerable care residents are being put at risk from cross contamination, and so are those of the care staff that work there and their families. Please sign this petition to get the government to find a better solution to this problem.
