What the petition asks

Give Captain Tom Moore a Knighthood for his service to the United Kingdom during World War 2 and the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020.
In 2020, Captain Tom Moore inspired thousands to contribute millions of pounds to our selfless NHS workers who fought on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic to save lives. Some made the ultimate sacrifice in that service. The money raised directly benefited the NHS staff in the short term and will do so in the long term. Captain Moore also defended British values during World War 2. He has made significant contributions to society and should be duly recognised.
