What the petition asks

Allow driving instructors to have an extension to their next licence or possible partial refund on their existing licence to allow for lost earnings and inability to work and use their instructor licence and receiving the full 4 years they paid £300 for.

Instructors are a vital part of the community and road safety. They must pay £300 every 4 years to maintain their licence and also undergo regular exams. Currently they are unable to work due to restrictions on non essential car travel and social distancing. Therefore they are paying for a licence which they can't use, adding to their financial problems.
