What the petition asks
Captain Moore has shown that in times of adversity good men, and women, do good things. This man has selflessly raised millions of pounds, at no thought to his own health condition, in a short period of time, to help the NHS through the present crisis the country finds itself in.
The Government owes a debt of gratitude to this War hero who has proved himself to be a Peace hero for our country at this time of adversity
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We know lots of people want to petition for Colonel Moore to receive an honour, but the Government will only accept individual nominations, not petitions, so we can’t publish your petition.
