Provide better financial support for early years settings during this crisis

What the petition asks
Revise the financial support offered to early years settings to allow settings to keep the full early years entitlement funding and claim 80% of furloughed staff wages through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.
100s of early years setting are being put on the verge of closure following the latest government announcement about eligibility of early years providers to financial support.
Settings have been making plans based on the Government's promise that funding could be kept and job retention scheme be claimed for, which is why 100s of settings waived privately funded invoices. Many business have now been left undervalued and underfunded, with huge losses.
Key workers wouldn’t have been able to save lives if not for early years settings and schools commitments and dedication.
