What the petition asks
To appoint a justice or other professional to chair a public inquiry into why the Government was not adequately prepared to protect our NHS with stocks of PPE and its inability to raise the testing capacity rapidly in the early stages. After the pandemic is over, the Government must be exposed.
There had now been a plethora of evidence from healthcare professionals and politicians that the Government was given good time to prepare but never implemented the strategy until it was too late. We as the public and as great supporters of the NHS demand that the Government be held to account for their failings. We must be given answers and must not be underestimated.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
