Get the ambulance service classified as an emergency service
Rejected
16 signatures
What the petition asks
To give the service the same funding and classification as the police and fire service
During this national crisis their work needs to be recognised, they are called upon to attend very sick people in life threatening circumstances. To not be treated as an emergency service is a disgrace
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like to happen to ambulance services.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as providing direct funding to ambulance services rather than via the NHS
