What the petition asks

Extend the criteria For those who had written job offers in place before the furlough date in March.

I had my job offer early March and worked my month notice, my employer replaced me with two people, therefore unable to re-hire me. New employer can’t furlough me. There are thousands of us with no income, and benefits not covering essential bills.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Change the Furlough Support Scheme to include new hires after 28th February.
