Encourage the home office to give asylum seekers permission to volunteer since asylum seekers are not allowed to work or do anything

People can only do voluntary work for charities, voluntary organisations and certain other bodies. Individuals working for private enterprises are deemed workers under UK employment law, so would be entitled to be paid. It is therefore not possible under current employment law for the UK Government to enable asylum seekers to volunteer to work on farms.
