Change the date for an employee to be accepted for furlough to the 31st of March

What the petition asks

CoronaVirus Job retention scheme Was set up to prefect works livelihoods and income. The cut of date for you to be considered is the 19th of March. 80% of the uk is paid monthly which means that thousands of workers do not qualify if they have started a new Job within March.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak, Chancellor of the Exchequer said he would not leave anyone behind!

Change the date untill the 31st of the month. Change the date so that hard working people do not get left behind.

You have changed things for self employed and directors, please change things so that hard working staff do not get left behind!

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Change the Furlough Support Scheme to include new hires after 28th February.
