What the petition asks

We call upon the Government to introduce a temporary ban on immigration to protect jobs and prevent the spread of Covid19.
We have Eastern European people coming in to carry out fruit picking.
How can this be right when our own people are being overlooked?
It is time to bring in temporary immigration restrictions to prevent the spread of the "Invisible Killer" and give our own people the chance to work first.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly whether you want all visitors to be prevented to the UK to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus, in which case you might like to sign this petition:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
