What the petition asks
All Pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy to be entitled to the furlough scheme, especially people working in Health care.
I was forced to choose my job or my baby. As a Health care worker working in a care home and 13 weeks pregnant me and my employer made a decision for me to stop working as too many Residents were showing signs of Coronavirus.
Everyday was making me more anxious about going to work worrying who I come in contact with might already have the virus.
I couldn’t be put on furlough so I had to go on sick pay which could result in me not being entitled to my maternity pay further down the line.
