Remove Elizabeth Mary Truss from her role as Minister for Women and Equalities
Rejected

What the petition asks
Liz Truss has recently indicated she is attempting to implement same sex spaces and reform on the Gender Recognition Act. This will have a negative impact on the transgender community as it will restrict their freedom. Liz has also indicated that trans people under 18 will not receive medical care
As a woman and part of the LGBTQ community these reforms will have a consequence on equality. Rather than moving towards a society which holds equality for all it feels that it is a step back for the LGBT community. Due to this it is evident that Liz Truss is not a suitable candidate for her current role.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Cabinet Ministers to be sacked.
