Allow all DVLA staff to go back to work with extra staff to deal with backlog

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

To allow the DVLA staff to go back to work with a budget to employ extra staff to deal with the extensive backlog of applications and admin to keep our country on the road.
In the interest of everyone who rely on their cars to work, support family members and friends & themselves at this horrible time. I’m sure everyone can understand that we now need our cars more than ever to stay safe and keep our country moving. It’s awful the amount of people that are being refused driving tests, losing their licenses or can’t get them back. Please sign to help those in need keep their jobs, independence & normality!

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about staffing and work priorities are operational matters for the DVLA, not decisions for Government or the House of Commons.
