What the petition asks
Help those who have recently gone self-employed by including the 2019-2020 tax year within the coronavirus support. We're able to submit our tax returns now - so it should be considered when working out support in June if they are submitted.
People who went full-time self-employed within the past year have been completely forgotten and are struggling to get by. Whilst support from the government has been fantastic so far - for the many - there are a few select groups that have been forgotten. Those whose 2019-2020 tax returns would truly help to create a fair average and give a better representation of income.
Please consider this as those who are being left to the sidelines feel so alone in all this. Thank you for your time.
