Currently a few mobile testing units are visiting care homes. 89 mobile units will be deployed at the beginning of May. There are 100s of Covid19 affected care homes. It will take many weeks to catch up with the spread of the infection in new homes. By this time 1000s of vulnerable people will be directly exposed to this killer virus in their own 'homes' & not shielded.
Would you allow this to happen in the Lords? Weekly testing is then the only way to start shielding carehome residents & staff.
