What the petition asks

The UK government should be implementing a decentralised rather than centralised app where the data is held on each user's phone rather than centrally by the government itself.

The UK government should value its citizens health over the opportunity to gather data about their movements. A decentralised app would be more secure, more private and more likely to be used by a greater number of people. It will therefor save more lives!

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
