Make it mandatory for employers to claim furlough for eligible employees.

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like the government to make it mandatory for companies to claim furlough for eligible employees.
My individual experience & many other the same I believe is that I have been told from citizens advice, my agency at the time, acas & hmrc that I am eligible for this payment I have done my home work & I have all the evidence & facts supporting my case yet the umbrella company that I had the contract with at the time have told me they are not in a position to pay furlough & I have to claim esa from the job centre meaning I'm practically giving up £2000+ I'm owed for £75 a week in benefits.
