What the petition asks
I was born in the UK While we were a member of the EU. From birth it’s my right if I wish to stay within the EU after Brexit I as an EU member by birth I should be allowed to remain.
Pass a law that allows citizens who wish to remain a member of the EU by birth should be allowed to remain.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to do. Membership of the EU is granted to countries rather than individuals.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the UK to rejoin the EU: Rejoin the EU under Article 49 TEU
You could also start a new petition asking the UK Government to negotiate with the EU to allow British citizens to retain their current freedom of movement rights within the EU.
