Petition · past parliament
Key workers to be given a tax break during Covid-19 lockdown.

What the petition asks
The government should suspend taxing key workers during the pandemic lockdown and should backdate/ rebate any tax paid during this time.
The government have made provision for the self employed and have agreed to pay 80% wage for furloughed workers, but as yet key workers who are going to work risking their lives and those of their families to keep the country functioning have received nothing in way of a reward for their sacrifice. I’m sorry, but the clap doesn’t cut it!
