What the petition asks
We would like the Parliament to unanimously agree & erect a statute for Captain Tom Moore (Next to Churchill) for his ginormous efforts & contributions to the society. The statute will be a reminder for the future generation about our struggle against Covid19 & the efforts of one man in particular.
Government and the parliament to agree and erect the statute for Captain Tom Moore at an appropriate time preferably next to
Sir Winston Churchill.
The statue to stay as a reminder for the society in generations to come.
This statute will also show the communities that every one can contribute to make the life better for the others how ever small it may be.

Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We know lots of people want to petition for Colonel Moore to receive an honour, but the Government will only accept individual nominations, not petitions, so we can’t publish your petition.
