What the petition asks
In wales social care workers are going to receive a £500 one off payment for working through this pandemic. I would like to pettion for all social care workers across the uk to receive this aswell. As a worker in a nursing home myself i feel this would be a fair request and it should be tax free.
If its good enough for wales it is only fair and just that all social and domicilary workers across the uk should also receive a reward as a show of gratitude from the government for the efforts made by all the
Care staff in social care during this pandemic . As the welsh minister Mark Drakeford said in his speech this payment is designed to provide some further recognition of the value we attach to everything they are doing which supports our NHS and society
