What the petition asks

I want it to be the law that if you hit a cat it has to be reported and not reporting should be a criminal offence

We lost our had today he was hit outside my house and the driver just drove off. He was killed instantly but not all cats are that lucky and some do suffer. It should be against the law to leave a cat you have run over
