Move the August bank holiday to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VJ day

What the petition asks
This year is the 75th anniversary of the end of the war. The bank holiday in May was moved in order to commemorate VE day. Those that fought in Japan deserve the same recognition, move the bank holiday in august to commemorate VJ day in the same way.
Those that fought in Burma are often called the forgotten army and they seldom receive the same recognition. I understand that Europe is closer to home. However my grandfather fought in Burma, he volunteered to serve his country and as a farmer he did not have to. My grandfather and those that fought alongside him deserve the same recognition as those that fought in Europe.
