What the petition asks
I want the Government or Parliament to introduce a law, where social media platforms report all removed hate/racist comments to the police. The Police should then take appropriate action with the evidence provided by social media platforms.
After following the Crimewatch U.K. Facebook page. I noticed a lot of hate/racist comments on the videos uploaded. I reported them to Facebook/Crimewatch UK. Those that were removed, the members were not banned, nor were they prosecuted. I reported it to the Police via online chat and I was told there is nothing the Police can do. If reported comments on Facebook are removed and then forwarded to the Police, it would ensure appropriate action could be taken for those who break the Law.
