What the petition asks

Give a pay rise to all key workers who are working during the Covid-19 pandemic. They should be given more than just a thank you and a clap every week for risking their lives.

Key workers are putting their lives at risk every time they go to work and most are earning minimum wage for doing so. Key workers are constantly put into dangerous situations and are under appreciated for all they do.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

The Government is not responsible for setting the salary of most key workers, or setting minimum wages for particular sectors, but you may wish to sign petitions calling for the following actions:
