What the petition asks
The UK Media/ News have misinformed the public many times throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The UK Media/ News should incur a penalty fine for each item of news that is deemed as misinformation that is produced.
The UK Media/ News should incur a penalty fine for each item of news that is deemed as misinformation that is produced.
On the week leading up to Boris Johnson’s speech 10-MAY-2020 many the UK Media/ News were printing that lockdown would be completely lifted on 11-MAY-2020.
This in turn prompted people to meet in masses in public places (parks etc.) and families to meet thus increasing the spread of the coronavirus.
I believe this is a necessity step to protect the NHS stop the spread of the coronavirus.
