What the petition asks
The Government should openly encourage the FA to void the current football leagues aiming to finish the current seasons and to aim towards starting next season if they can guarentee it is safe to do so.
The FA are currently looking into how to resume the EFL seasons. As we have seen in Germany with Dresden, restarting the football season only compromises the health and safety of the individuals taking part.
The FA should put the safety of its footballers first and set an example to the public by voiding the league season.
As footballers are role models, looking to restart the league undermines the seriousness of COVID-19 and the FA should set an example to the public by putting safety first.
