Campsites, where campers bring their own tents, should open from June 1st 2020

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Allow campsites to re-open for visitors from June 1st 2020
Our campsites should be allowed to open
1) as they occupy an outside space (and is an outdoor recreational activity) and any associated indoor club houses and indoor facilities will remain shut.
2) The second, and perhaps most important reason is that we have the space for people to easily maintain a two-metre gap from other people – at all times.
3) And the third is that camping can be practised whilst avoiding any contact with shared equipment or shared facilities, other than access to toilets (the same as golf courses)....

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
