What the petition asks
Make PPE mandatory for all school workers.
With schools going back in phases it is imperative that school workers are protected, they are key workers working very closely with children that do not understand social distancing, they must wear PPE to protect themselves and those they live with.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Guidance on Covid-19 and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is a matter for Public Health England, and not the Government or Parliament.
