What the petition asks
Keep schools closed until September. When the children go back, keep them in their current classes and prep them to move up to the next year group in January 2021
The number of covid-19 related deaths is still too high for parents to be comfortable sending their children back to school. Younger children will find it impossible to keep to social distancing guidelines and older children will want to mix with their friends
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
