I want to add being a parent of a young child/ren under the Equality act

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like Private landlords not to be able to refuse a property due to someone having a young child or even ask about children at the offer stages
Having children is such a fundamental part of life. To be refused a property just because you have a child is discrimination even if not in the eyes of the current law. Children are human beings and just because someone has a child doesn't mean they are no longer a 'professional'

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
